I’m writing a research paper on addictions and I have to chose a movie which depicts addictions. I chose “Buffalo Soldiers,” and I was wondering if anyone knew how addictions are depicted in that movie? or if there are any addictions depicted at all?
I know they cook up heroin and stuff like that.

But that was before he figured in the $5 million in stolen arms that just landed on his lap, Berman’s jealous wife, an insane Turkish drug dealer, and, of course, the resulting lust, betrayal, and murder.

The legend himself, Joaquin Phoenix gives us a great performance as Ray Ellwood, the smart alleck peace hating war veteran who gives us a look at what the army does when they are not fighting wars, Ed Harris and Scott Glenn give great support but the best of the supporting cast is Anna Paquin from X-Men as Ellwoods love interest, this may not be such a big name in the world of film but this will definitely have you chuckling with it great one-liners, acting, screenplay, cinematography and direction, will hit you like a ton of bricks, and the impact will be so big, that you are gonna enjoy every single second. * * * * * out of * * * * *
