what would cause me to have two periods a month that both last five to seven days and are very heavy?

quick history i had my second child almost two years ago and afterwards my periods became very heavy however about six to eight months ago i started having two periods a month. I am only 25 years old and have never had any other health issues. i am not on birth control pills and i am not sexually active at this time. I have lost all intrest in having sex since this started. Please help

Sounds to me like you might have a fibroid in your uterus. This is not life threatening but can cause heavy irregular bleeding. It may or may not need removing but a visit to the Dr is the way to go. They can do an ultrasound scan to find out.
