Is This A Real Authentic Uncirculated Dollar Coin?

so i found 2 golden colored dollar coins in my piggy bank from a long time ago. its gold colored, has a picture of sacagewea on the front and the year 2000. it has liberty on top and in god we trust on the side of sacagewea. however, it does not have the the ridges on the side of it. is it real? also, there is a eagle on the back with the saying ” e pluribus unum” , united states of america on top, stars around the eagle there are stars and one dollar on the bottom. please help.

The Sac dollars have a plain edge not a reeded one. The 2000-P Sac had a mintage of 767,140,000 and the 2000-D was 518,916,000 so neither one is scarce. Your coins are worth a $1 each. Your coins are real but just have a mintage too high to be a collectible.

American Buffalo Gold Coins

The Latin Buffalo gold coins is a gold bullion coin minted by the U.S. Mint, that became available to the public on 22 June 2006. The most notable distinguishing feature between the currencies of U.S. U.S. American Eagle and Buffalo is that American Buffalo is twenty-four-karat gold bullion coins, to put it another way, 99.99% real gold. The flagship of U.S. coins Eagle 22-karat gold, Paraphrasing 9167% pure gold, the rest being a mixture of silver and copper. Buffalo gold coins began as a result of increasing worldwide requirement of twenty-four coins karat gold, and the popularity of Canadian Maple Leafs, Chinese Panda gold coins and other gold bullion 99.99 product.

The currency oz golden buffalo has a cost of fifty dollars face. But similar to other currencies, that amount only say that the supply of money is legal and has no real connection with the actual value of the currency, which is based on the current cost spot gold. Gold Buffalos planning is based on the images of the Buffalo Nickel, which was produced from 1913 to 1938. Images by James Earle Fraser, features an image of a Native American man on the obverse and an image of a Yankee bison (buffalo) on the back. In the front covers also the year in the lower left side and the word "freedom" along the upper right. The reverse shows the name of "States States of America "along the leading edge, right below the words" E Pluribus Unum "is Latin for" From many, one " (a slogan used in many of the official symbols of the United States). Also reads "In God We Trust" on the bottom left, and at the bottom of the value officer, and below the official value of the coin weight and purity of ".9999 Fine Gold."

The American Buffalo gold coin is also produced fractional sizes [* FR1] ounce with a face value of $ 25, [* FR3] oz, with a nominal cost of $ 10, and 1 / 10 ounces with a nominal cost of $ 5.

Buffalo gold coins are also produced in uncirculated and proof versions of the coinage of the best quality (and price of high quality), but these coins have been canceled for 2009 due to the need to strike for gold bullion coins. In addition, 2009 coinage of normal pasta buffalo coins delayed until further notice. Most investor demand increase is for U.S. gold eagles, so the U.S. Mint is leaving hand most of its gold reserves to be coined.

U.S. buffalo reached in previous years can be discovered in stores and currency gold shops. But you may have to go looking to find one because there is no supply of freshly minted this year.
