Does anyone know the value of this coin?

Does anyone know the value of this coin? It has the words White Trillium, a picture of a flower on the front and Ontario 1867 plus a shield/coat of arms on the back with 2 moose and a bear on top. It’s a hair bigger that a toonie, but twice as heavy.

If you think it’s valuable, you really need to contact an appraiser. Anyone else would be guessing.

If you want guesswork, go to Google and click on the word Images. Type in the details of your coin, and see if you can find one like it. Then you’ll know what it’s called. You can then go check out eBay to see if anyone’s selling one, and for how much.

Reaching out in time and these salad recipes old fashion the next time you need a salad for a picnic, potluck suppers, church dinner, etc. They are also great for the family table. Here's a classic recipe potato salad, salad copper coins which is a carrot salad, and deviled eggs.

Hellman Classic Potato Salad

1 Real cup Hellman's mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Pepper 1 / 4 cup
4 cups diced, peeled potatoes (about 5 or 6)
1 cup celery
1 / 2 cup chopped onion
2 boiled eggs, chopped

Combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper. Gently stir in potatoes, celery, Onon, and eggs. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

SALAD COPPER COIN
This is a recipe of my husband's aunt Norma.

2 carrots pounds, cut
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 can tomato soup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon oil / 2 cup salad
1 / 4 cup vinegar

Cook carrots in salted water until tender. Cool. Mix carrots, onion and green pepper together.

To make the sauce, whip tomato soup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, sugar, oil and vinegar; with the mixture. Pour over the vegetables. Refrigerate overnight. Do not stir.

Virginia deviled eggs
This recipe is an old Monroe County, book kitchen of the church in Indiana.

6 hard boiled eggs
Mayonnaise 1 / 4 cup
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Salt 1 / 8 teaspoon
Dash of pepper
paprika for garnish

Cut eggs in half lengthwise, remove yolks in small bowl and mash with a fork. Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper in mashed eggs. Mix until well blended. Refill egg whites with mixture. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
